Caitin Hartnett

Caitin is an urban planner and project manager who specializes in affordable housing and community development. She is committed to advancing place-based housing initiatives that align with community-identified needs and sustainable long-term ownership. 

At IFF, Caitin has managed the development of both multifamily rental (LIHTC) and single-family for-sale housing projects, applying both traditional and innovative strategies to address the housing crisis through new construction and the preservation of existing housing. She has experience structuring, financing, and closing complex development projects, managing them from initial concept through close-out.

Prior to joining IFF, Caitin worked at Civic Arts, a creative planning and placemaking consulting firm based in Austin, Texas, where she contributed to community planning and engagement initiatives. She holds a Master of Science in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Geography from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
