Committee Responsibilities
Ideal For:
- Anyone passionate about bringing WP&D events to life and growing our community
- No experience necessary—just enthusiasm and interest in supporting WP&D's mission!

What You'll Do:
Event Support:
- Assist with event planning and logistics for WP&Drinks, Small Talks, Summer Membership Appreciation Picnic, Annual Winter Social, professional development panels, and more
- Help with event setup, teardown, and day-of coordination
- Welcome guests at the sign-in table
- Research and suggest event venues
- Coordinate with vendors, especially small women- and minority-owned businesses
Community Building & Outreach:
- Promote WP&D events and increase attendance
- Solicit event sponsorships and donations for giveaways
- Promote WP&D to current and prospective members
- Leverage your network to expand WP&D's reach
- Identify partnership opportunities with other organizations and industries
- Share ideas for event topics, speakers, or collaborations
- Support efforts to advance women across planning and development fields

What to Expect:
- Quarterly committee meetings with WP&D Board liaison

- Most tasks are project-based and can be completed on your own timeline
- Support the committee's work in a way that aligns with your interests and availability
