Polaris Charter Academy

Polaris Charter Academy is a charter school in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood that WP+D is working to support. Their innovative expeditionary learning model, created by Outward Bound, teaches students to be self-motivated, creative, critical thinkers, with the ultimate goal of shaping life-long learners and citizens with a strong sense of personal and civic responsibility.

WP+D Garden at Polaris
In May, WP+D Outreach Committee volunteers met at Polaris Charter School to add plants and clean up the garden WP+D planted last fall.
