On Saturday, November 13, WP+D members volunteered at Deborah’s Place, a non-for-profit organization that provides housing and supportive services exclusively for women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The organization offers residents a range of housing options including interim and permanent housing, as well as educational, employment, health, case management, and counseling services. In the 2010 fiscal year, Deborah’s Place served more than 450 women, making the organization the largest provider of housing and supportive services for women in Chicago.
