Led by dedicated volunteers, the following committees form the backbone of the organization. Members are encouraged to be actively involved in any of the five committees:

 

Community Outreach Coordinates service projects, this year promoting WP+D's involvement with outreach partner Polaris Charter Academy.

 

Marketing New to WP+D, the marketing committee will promote WP+D through well-designed, streamlined communications.

 

Membership Manages WP+D membership and makes

recommendations to the Board on benefits and programs to attract new members. Organizes the Membership Directory and an annual summer Membership Appreciation Picnic.

 

Professional Development Organizes skills-oriented workshops including the annual Career Paths Workshop in the spring and the Professional Development Series in the fall.

 

Programs Organizes monthly socials and topical speakers, this year focusing on events for the Burnham Plan Centennial.
