Committees
Led by dedicated volunteers, the following
committees form the backbone of the organization. Members are
encouraged to be actively involved in any of
the committees:
Membership
Promotes WP+D
membership and makes recommendations to the Board on benefits and
programs to attract new members. Organizes the
Membership Directory and the annual summer Membership
Appreciation Picnic.
Programs
Organizes monthly happy hours and
topical speaker events.
Community
Outreach
Coordinates service
projects for WP+D members and promotes WP+D involvement in
activities that promote more livable
communities.
Professional
Development
Makes recommendations to the Board for
skills-oriented workshops and organizes the annual Professional Development Series in the fall.
