Mission Statement

Women in Planning + Development is a non-profit organization founded in 1992 to provide leadership, networking, and educational opportunities to women in the fields of planning and development.

•   WP+D offers services, support, programs, and information to promote the professional advancement of its members.
•   WP+D fosters a civic and social commitment through the provision of pro bono services and the dissemination of information to advocate for positive change.
•   WP+D recognizes that many individuals and organizations have made significant contributions to the field of planning and development and seeks to acknowledge achievements and new concepts by providing a forum for discussion.
•   WP+D is governed by a board of directors and administered by an executive committee.
